Billing Terms & Conditions

These terms cover how payment works when you order from Jack Maverick's — how and when you're charged, in what currency, and what happens if something goes wrong. They sit alongside our Terms of Service.
Placing an order
When you check out, you're authorising payment for the items in your cart plus any shipping and applicable tax shown at checkout. By submitting the order you confirm that you're the authorised holder of the payment method used, or have that holder's permission to use it.
When you're charged
Payment is taken at the time you place your order, through our payment provider. Placing an order is an offer to buy; a contract is formed when we accept and ship it. If for any reason we can't fulfil an order you've paid for, we'll refund you in full.
Currency & pricing
All prices and charges are in US dollars (USD) unless stated otherwise. If you pay with a card in another currency, your bank sets the exchange rate and may add its own conversion or foreign-transaction fee, which is outside our control.
Payment methods
We accept the payment methods shown at checkout. Card details are handled securely by our payment provider — we don't see or store your full card number on our own systems.
Pricing errors
We try to keep prices accurate, but errors happen. If we discover that an item was mispriced after you've ordered, we'll contact you before charging or shipping — you can confirm the order at the correct price or cancel it for a full refund. We reserve the right to cancel any order placed at an obviously incorrect price.
Taxes
Any applicable sales tax is calculated and shown at checkout before you pay, based on your shipping destination.
Failed or declined payments
If a payment is declined or can't be completed, your order won't be processed. You're welcome to try again or contact your bank; if you need a hand, write to us and we'll help where we can.
Refunds
Refunds are issued to your original payment method and are governed by our Returns & Refund Policy. Once we process a refund, the time it takes to appear on your statement depends on your bank or card provider.
Chargebacks
If you have a problem with an order, please contact us first — we'll almost always sort it faster than a bank dispute can. Raising a chargeback without contacting us, on an order we've correctly fulfilled, may be treated as a breach of these terms, and we reserve the right to contest disputes we believe are unwarranted, providing our records to the payment provider.
Changes
We may update these billing terms from time to time. The version in effect is the one published here, dated at the top of this page.
