Dear reader, do you recall how excited this webmaster was for the Star Trek/Legion of Super-Heroes miniseries from IDW? Well that was nothing – NOTHING – compared to the excitement I feel for IDW’s Star Trek: TNG/Doctor Who crossover. I’m downright giddy.

There are five Wednesdays this month, and where the Big Two have relatively few releases (though the ones they’ve got look to be great, including annuals for Amazing Spider-Man, Animal Man, and Batman), smaller publishers more than make up for it. Take this opportunity to try something new – get caught up on an older series, or take a look at an indy book. We’ve got plenty of them just waiting for you.
