There’s so much good this week that it’s almost hard to figure out where to start. Aside from your usual goodies from the Big Two (including the debut of a new Kid Eternity from DC, and what looks to be a pretty cool new X-Title, Xtreme X-Men – the X-Men in the Multiverse!), the indies bring their A-game with some great new releases of their own.

The first page of Axe Cop: President of the World #1 made this webmaster laugh out loud. If you’re not picking this up, you obviously do not like fun. Or axe cops.

Also of note is the release of Jeff Lemire’s new original graphic novel, The Underwater Welder. Lemire’s produced such classics as The Nobody and the incredible Essex County trilogy, and this book, years in the making, looks to be just as great. If you’re a fan of Animal Man or Sweet Tooth, give definitely give this book a look.
